One species of crow is fun to ID, two species is a murder (for your sanity to id). The #LargeBilledCrow on the light post and the slightly slimmer #CarrionCrow in the grass provides fun challenges. Thankfully they vocalize differently!

One species of crow is fun to ID, two species is a murder (for your sanity to id). The #LargeBilledCrow on the light post and the slightly slimmer #CarrionCrow in the grass provides fun challenges. Thankfully they vocalize differently!

An #EasternBluebird perched in front of golden fall colors. A joy of photography is on this same tree I caught another EABL with rich red backgrounds -- both accenting different features of our feathery friend!

The #EasternBuzzard reminds me a lot of the Red-tailed Hawks in my area. Both are members of Buteo, so perhaps shouldn't be too surprising!
