Just finished clean up animation on the biggest cut I've *ever* drawn. God that took forever.
Nearly 400 keyframes & I added *ALL* the highlights and shadows on every single one of them. Background animation & 4 characters on the screen at once in parts.
But it is finally done.😭

They are more accurate, you can change the pose to what ever you want, and or use other peoples animations as keyframes to redraw in your style

Keyframe-only micro-segments for instant seek / splicing:
• Package short segments that contain only keyframes for fast seek points
• Keep them tiny and cache-friendly on the same CDN path
• Use for fast ad splice or live jump-to-live

Question 3, When drawing the hair for the keyframes, im kinda just drawing hair that looks good at that angle, and only trying to maintain consistency for the size of the hair generally and the bangs, is this the norm or is there some standard to follow?

Question 1, i feel like i used too many reference frames and not enough keyframes, but i really cannot tell how many is "enough", is there such thing as too much? At what point should i just make a new keyframe?

Played around with keyframes here and there, did one quick silly animation to test something, and technically this is my second "proper" animation (as in finetuning stuff, rendering, etc), and my first published one

Yeah, it’s hard to disagree with these points 😕. I felt kinda the same way about starting-style; we already have keyframe animations for enter animations, and I feel like now it’s a lot more ambiguous for when to use transitions vs keyframes.

reworked an old piece from a clumsy video i made back in january last year!! back before i knew what keyframes were and i was still confused by capcut BVFBVFVF warning old art is old

the rerendered piece is a lot softer i think + i adjusted proportions a lil bit, but overall the vibe is the same!!
