Its just standard KDE6, which is great, and basically Windows from a better timeline, but stuff like discord screensharing gets fucky even on an all AMD setup.
I honestly feel like somebody should partner with Microcenter & Best Buy, offer a kit to turn old Office PCs into Steam Machines.

So I've been getting freezes in Godot with an NVIDIA card on Wayland&X11 KDE6 CachyOS (Arch-based) whenever a 3rd window appears when not in Single Window mode or when not using the OpenGL3 driver, right?

When is the last time you’ve used KDE because I haven’t had any issues like this since halfway through 5’s life. I have had scaling issues in KDE6 but they fixed those

どうしても出来ない。
ウェブの英語の教材で聴き取り練習をしていて
ブラウザ(ウィンドウ最大化)内部の、教材のボタンやシークバーを押した時
聴き取りを書き取っている Emacs のウィンドウを隠さないでほしいのだが
頻繁にブラウザ内部を操作する必要があり
そのたびに Emacs が隠れてしまい、効率が悪い。
キーボードでも操作できるのだがいまいち。
このどれでも出来ない。
(あとこの画面キャプチャを取るための spectacle も動作が変。ムキー)

1. 自 kde5 到 kde6 ，修改視窗寬高的部分的 API 有變動。從 `window.geometry = ... ` 變成 `window.frameGeometory.... `。目前這版大概只對 kde6 有用。
2. 要測試時，要重新「安裝」。手速再怎麼快，這部分按 GUI 也要個 15 秒吧。（或許得先花時間研究一下有無能用指令完成的方式）
3. runtime 有時沒錯誤，但是也沒效果。試錯過程很多次。
如果有什麼夠好的 REPL 的話我還真想知道....

KDE6 ancora non l'ho provato, troppo caos compilarmelo con il mio pc, e uso quel che rilascia la Slackware.
Comunque il terminale nativo va bene eh, nel senso che è usabile, anche configurabile. Questi che sto provando tra l'altro son molto più veloci nei nuovi computer in quanto usano la GPU...

Exato, além da gama de funcionalidades, atalhos, etc, o krunner (acho que é o nome daquela barra de pesquisa) é ótimo, sempre uso, mas não tem uma divulgação e um cuidado, agora com o steamOS usando era pra eles acelerarem essa questão, tu olha pro win11 e pro kde6 e parece que sai de 2025 pra 2015

Just an incomparably better desktop than Debian 12 Bookworm (June 2023). KDE6 and Gnome are just so much better (Sway still rocks, but not that notably differently).
