@tux Der Raspberry PI hatte soweit ich mich erinnern kann die EinschrΓ€nkung, dass der Ethernet-Port nur sehr schwach an die CPU angebunden war (USB 2.0?) und das limitiert dann den Durchsatz schon stark. Mit einem USB 3.0 Ethernet Dongle sollte das aber einigermaΓen gut gehen.

Did upgrade all the remaining service jails on our burningborad.net Mastodon instance to FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE today, after the host was already upgraded one and a half week ago.

We take data-safety of our Mastodon user data serious and have implemented multiple levels of backups with rigorous bi-yearly restore tests and documentation.
We do:
- Periodic local file system snapshots (Every 15 minutes).

Das hat auch erwartungsgemÀà dann einfach funktioniert und war sehr sehr sehr einfach π€·π»ββοΈ
Ich sehe Flatpak als deutlichen RΓΌckschritt und das nicht nur aus einem Grund.
Das was arch Linux gemacht hat mit [β¦]

@tux Technisch setzt Flatpak natΓΌrlich auf Runtimes und nicht auf klassisches statisches Linken. Das Ergebnis bleibt aber oft gleich: Sobald Apps unterschiedliche Runtime-Versionen anfordern, ist die theoretische Deduplizierung hinfΓ€llig und der Speicherbedarf explodiert.
