rather that than work killing animals. most countries have safetynets for unemployed people, homlessness is caused by politiicans unwilling to build homes, and I live in survival mode on a tiny pension, but no I wouldn't take a job in a slaughter house.

People were pointing to the spikes in homlessness to argue that the economy was dire. He rebutted that by noting that there has been an increase in homelessness because many people have come here without housing set up. I think it behooves YOU to spend five seconds looking at the actual context 1/2

Asylum seekers, folks who generally aren't doing great economically, made up the bulk of the folks who were homeless, a thing that is way more likely if you're doing poorly economically.

Yes. But both are still indicators. You're a smart guy. You know a couple FRED charts can't accurately capture an economy as big and complex as ours. For example, the homlessness rate hit its post-war peak in 2024. That is an economic indicator too, one that runs counter to Will's narrative.

i kinda wanna say the bars are for pokemon more than people if it wasnt for emmas backstory. we know she was homeless for a while and we can infer homlessness in a city but we also see kids out in the ZA royale so the cities gatta be pretty safe.
