I think the only legacy software I’ve used lately is GoldWave, which is somehow both simple and EXTREMELY comprehensive audio editing. I used maybe 6 of the tools and tbh Idek what most of the others even were. They were labeled, I just don’t know what like “treble burn” is.

I started music by playing with Goldwave, a shareware sound editor. It had a "paste mix" function that let me paste another sound clip into an existing one. I could undo 1 level if it wasn't at the right spot and try again. I made loops from instrumentals and mixed in other sounds

I just downloaded my GoldWave with license crack, which I've had on my harddrive since 2010, which i got from demonoid. The licenses still work! What joy. This will make editing dialogue for the band A LOT easier now. easily the best sound editing system available, as i mastered all my stuff on it

I don’t speak on how I get what I want; but GoldWave will definitely enhance the quality of any audio file you download & creates all kinds of audio files. It’s how I got specific ring tones for iPhones before they obliterated iTunes. & I extend all these 2 minute songs if they have a loopable part.

原來CapCut就是剪映海外版，難怪怎麼介面87%像，在完全沒用過的前提下，昨天出門亂拍的照片加影片，搭配內建的資源庫大概一小時多就可以產出一支短影音，裡面音效、音樂、轉場什麼都有不用另外找，淡入淡出之類常用功能設計的很好上手，難怪現在短影音廢片一堆，如果認真起來標準化流程，用這軟體來剪大概一天可以至少五、六支吧（不要管質感），用習慣Adobe跟Goldwave之類的後製軟體再來看CapCut就覺得惆悵，專業後製不如大量廢片，觀眾不想花時間欣賞精緻作品，只要有趣能填滿空閒時間就好，你後製技術很秋又怎樣，我剪映拉一拉流量也不輸你🫠

yeah, chinelin dabbled in creepypasta stuff as well (it is actually what hes most known for in the general internet space), and he had this video called the null desert that he made with this software called goldwave which he had shared a tutorial on how to replicate the effect

As the disk reads: This has their files rezipped + Goldwave sample editor copied twice just in case. You might get their disk to read better than I did! (the last "read" may be missing a letter going off of the handwriting) And I'm guessing the signature is Martin, possibly short for Martin Walker.

I use GoldWave to record the audio from the usb input. Still using the lp-120.

Every couple months or so, I will swap out the desktop machines I'm using next to my modular system. Today, I retired the ARP Odyssey in favor of three Moog machines: Subharmonicon, Werkstatt and the formidable Big Briar ring modulator. Even just initial patching the latter two, it is beastly!

I agree, but what I'm saying is I was under the impression that no actual AI was used, they just had to use a bunch of audio filters to isolate John's voice. That would be like saying me putting a noise gate on a song in Goldwave is using AI.

If you need a good audio editor, then Goldwave is good, has been around since 1993 and is still getting updated. It's also made in Canada and is good for what it does. Single track audio editing.
