You know with things like Impossible and Boca and Beyond and Gardein, it makes it very easy to swap out meat. I even tried some “steak bites” and they were pretty okay. I think it’s better to limit highly processed food like that but once in a while, it serves the purpose. :)

i swear to god gardein chicken is my fave food on the planet. i’ve never tried a fake chicken substitute that i haven’t liked, apparently it’s super easy to imitate unlike beef which only has a few good subs. i am still longing for the day i can have a vegan pork chop….

i eat a fuckload of fake meat (usually gardein chick’n) and the same veggies constantly, usually peas/corn/carrots. i’m SUPER picky and have 2-3 go to meals that i just cycle between and eat the same thing every day p much, i survive off of processed fortified snacks with added vitamins

I’ve not tried the Beyond vegan ‘steak’ yet, but I’ve had the Gardein and Impossible ‘steak’ tips. The Gardein is by far my favorite as of now. Impossible isn’t bad, it’s a different flavor and good with other things. But, I personally love the Gardein Ultimate. You won’t be disappointed. #vegan

As far as I can tell no grocery store sells vegan meatballs anywhere in Saint John anymore 😪 the Gardein ones used to be widely available. If anyone has a source plz let me know 😩

Gardein makes some of my favorite fake meat stuff out there, specifically their chick’n fillets. I also always keep a brick of Beyond Beef in my freezer - makes great meatloaf.
