"Then you really do want thieves, dead or alive," Marion asked. "If I were sure that a man was guilty of burglary, I would shoot him, even if I killed him, rather than let him escape. I should prefer taking him bloodlessly and I fancy that I should be able to do so, but we cannot always govern conditions."

I just didn't understand that I guess some of the hacking instructions were reversed like up up down right was actually supposed to be down down up left but the game did zero to explain that. lol ;)

I still don't understand how you're supposed to know if it's reversed or not for the locks.

I did have the game, but I doubt I made it far before I started doing the comic. The game instructions had lots of illustrations in it which got me so psyched to draw a comic about the game. It was also one of the few games I played at that age that had a heavy story driven opening.

I do board game nights every week, I go through all three, and still lose spectacularly! We already know to divvy up the work: one of us reads the instructions in English, somebody else reads them in Portuguese, a third watches video walkthroughs/reviews, and somebody cries while mumbling “again?”

We should appreciate game developers more. Y’all have no idea how much effort a game takes. Even if you followed instructions to make a game, it would still take years to make it. Between the code, sound bites, artwork, etc., it takes a lot of effort.

39. The Aquarium does not dance

A pretty fun RPG Maker horror game, that teaches you a bit about different sea creatures on the side. I had problems with some of the puzzles, due to confusing instructions, but otherwise it was very enjoyable. They even got some well known seiyuu on board!

There's a point in Firewatch where you get very clear instructions to look at a chart of trees and the map in your tower for where those trees grow so you can find your way to a meeting place... and then the game just puts an objective marker there.
