Given, at one stage, that women could only be "Manually Stimulated" by a qualified doctor and dildo's were steam powered, little surprises me about humans these days.

I dunno that a “break even stable time” is necessary - think of internal combustion, where there’s four configurations to complete the cycle, happening thousands of times a minute.
Or, most fission plants, which replace a 19th century steam plant firebox with a magic rock that gets real hot.

I assure you, as annoying as it is -- you love driving your car, you hate those mean bicyclists, you wish pedestrians would get out of your way, you "deserve" free parking, and you don't believe climate change is coming for your suburban home in a firebox --

I think I may as well, given I've already done two versions of DeWitt Clinton.
Figuring out the firebox without a plan view it going to be troublesome, as it appears to be flat on top. Complex geometry to join that to the boiler barrel (maybe why it wasn't built that way!)

I was sick of hauling a space heater around the house. I had to rebuild my chimney and fireplace last year and I had them paint the firebox black with the thought of putting an electric insert in, this is me getting around to it.
