Oh 100%, and eTransit already has a chassis-cab version, the only missing piece is a longer cab.
(*I suspect some of the answer is a full van body is more practical in the vast majority of commercial applications and you can "have more than one vehicle" in a commercial context)

I have a park & loop mail route where I drive approximately 8 miles a day in a Metris van that Gets about 9 MPG because of it. That could easily be replaced by a etransit & save them a pile of money & maintenance

The biggest of these incentives is just the fact that business fleets are data driven. They know what they actually drive, and don't get hung up on edge cases. This is what allows Ford to sell an eTransit with ~150 miles of range, "solving" the EV price problem. Consumers are, uh, less data driven.

Dlouhý eTransit L4H3 s baterií váží 2960kg a do povolených 3500kg můžeš naložit jen 640kg. To není nic.
Dokud řidičák "B" nezvednou aspoň na 4500kg. Tak v tu chvíli na to nemáš řidiče.
Zatím to není průchodné.
