Encanto doesn’t fit animal kingdom, but animal kingdom needed something to replace dinorama. So rather than encanto & coco going to magic kingdom (where they would actually fit), we are getting a movie themed around a magic house and powers in the theme park about animals and conservation.

Today’s figures of the day are the Jurassic World Rebirth Captivz Dinorama sets! When I was a kid, Mighty Max and Polly Pocket were big hits that jumped multiple franchises, including Godzilla sets and Star Wars Micro Machine sets so I’m a bit of a sucker for miniature Diorama toys.

Today’s figures of the day are the Jurassic World Rebirth Captivz Dinorama sets! When I was a kid, Mighty Max and Polly Pocket were big hits that jumped multiple franchises, including Godzilla sets and Star Wars Micro Machine sets so I’m a bit of a sucker for miniature Diorama toys.
I'd love to think all these Jurassic licensees have been waiting for Dinorama to close so they could use the name, but real ones will always know Chester and Hester were first.

As I was trying to brainstorm some infamous icons of Animal Kingdom, which is an admittedly shortlist, it came down to Rivers of Light versus Cementosaurus.
Cement won because I’m a huge Dinoland fan so losing Dinorama is a bummer & because I’d be able to draw the nipple lights. 💚

The remains of what was once the DinoRama area in Dinoland USA at Disneys Animal Kingdom. This will be home to an Encanto themed area in the next couple of years!
