I know its standards are lower than the temperature in Ohio but still can’t quite believe that the New York Times published a piece telling Harry Potter fans to grow up, stop wanting the good guys to win, embrace the reign of Lord Voldemort, and stop doxxing dementors who are just enforcing the law.

I can’t fault the hard work done by the people who worked on it as the magic was clever and set pieces were good. As were the dementors. I don’t see how it’s going to work cut in half. But then a ten year run is decent for a show. Maybe time for something new in the palace soon? Bring back Priscilla

It's notable that in the 7th book, the Dementors immediately go over to Voldemort and later he's able to take over the Ministry with relatively little effort- because large chunks of the Wizarding ruling class either implicitly or very vocally supported him.
