Police can't and don't create safety, they only perpetrate violence and create trauma.

Real safety is in meeting people's needs for housing, healthcare, and education.

My condolences to the family. 💔

The cops drove into a dark park at night where they knew there were unhoused people camping, and ran her over like she was nothing. We need another IIU to investigate the IIU, especially when it comes to indiscriminate killing of people they don't regard as people.

Housing is a great deterrent against crime. #vanpoli #cdnpoli #defundthercmp #defundtheVPD
you cant deter crime thru relentless force. the longer it’s applied, the more visible errors accrue & the more citizens feel occupied. distrust in authority dissolves cooperation and you can’t solve crimes without citizens’ help. when police are a community’s enemy solving crime there is impossible.

When you work for a systemically racist organisation, you are racist. This includes all the admin/support staff for cops too. #acab #defundthercmp #abolishthepolice
"when we say acab it doesn't mean we hate individual cops" uhhh yes it does. You willingly and knowingly uphold a corrupt system and you yourself are corrupt. THATS what ACAB means. Stop watering down revolutionary language to make it more palatable to centrists.

Fuck every single individual cop.

Sorry: this began in 2021? And they learned about it in 2023… then acted on it the next year?? Were the Mickey Mouse Club too busy hassling Indigenous people? (It’s rhetorical.)

Police can not provide safety, only violence. These murders by police are not an accident, they are by design and part of canada's ongoing genocide against Indigenous Peoples. No mum should lose her child like this. #defundthercmp #CanadaSoRacist
