This trope comes up constantly whenever someone is comparing cultural customs. Every society in human history was okay with human sacrifice, the only meaningful difference is what kind of ritual, religious, economic or political conditions have to be met for someone to die for the greater good.

not sure working people arent the ruling class, people acquiesce to leaders and groups knowing consequences, history doesn't often record that, I don't think communism works, losing people for it pointless, i also suspect a subconscious disposition that informs peoples political/cultural choices

I'm not sure what the point is, beyond it makes me smile. I guess maybe when folks talk about AI in the creative process and the ideation process, we're limiting ourselves a bit to ideas, as pulling from our own history, cultural backgrounds and life we can probably get better ideas, quicker.
