We sent NHS staff into a deadly pandemic wearing bin liners. Hundreds of them died. Separated from their families for months, they worked unimaginable hours, and saw thousands drown in their bed.

And these worms DARE judge them for doing something silly for 5mins to boost morale and keep sane? WTAF

#coviddayofreflection as someone who took quite an unexpected hit from #COVID_19, I reflect that for me personally the great signifier of the end of the #pandemic is the complete absence now of #Columbo from the Channel5 suite. Brought great comfort to me in those testing times

Would telling your Covid story be enjoyable? Cathartic? Scary? Connecting? Let us know in the University of Stirling library. If it sounds REALLY exciting, you could sign up to hear more about the University's Pandemic Oral History project..

This #CovidDayOfReflection, like many people I am thinking of those who have lost their lives to Covid. But all too few recognise that those deaths haven't stopped. "During the pandemic" is  still now.

In my 6th year of #LongCovid ⬇️. A bastard of an illness with little appropriate healthcare. 2m+ in the UK have it. The Government has power to mitigate spread of the cause, improve the healthcare & fund accelerated research. But they’re not. Let’s reflect on that.

🦠🎂 5 years ago today I had my first symptoms of Covid-19. Half a decade on I still have various ongoing symptoms.

I prepared a video but unfortunately it’s too long for here so it’s over on the Other Place, if you’d like to take a look! ⬇️

Occasionally there is an achievement that really isn’t cause for celebration… Facebook has congratulated us for reaching 67,000 members of one of our peer support groups, an international group that we run for p/w #LongCovid & their care givers.

80% of responses on the hellsite are like this. Hundreds from blue ticks.

I really worry for all of us, if another pandemic were to hit now.

Just realised that the wall I lean on at hospital appts, where I look out at the city I used to spend all my free time in & grieve = the COVID Memorial Wall.

I knew it must be nearby, but I’ve never had the energy or mobility to explore

On this #coviddayofreflection it's depressing to see the covidiots and anti-vaxxers out in force, despite the many personal testimonies from those who suffered or lost loved ones during the global pandemic which claimed millions of lives
