small black friday order from W2T just got here, one Snoozefest cake and a bunch of mini ball samples. here's the "Big O", which is ripe puer blended with chenpi (mandarin orange skin) - the darker ripe puer and brighter citrus flavor/aroma is a fun combo

Where do you get your sticky rice pu-erh?

I might also try steeping a few goji berries and a little chenpi (dried mandarin skin) with it — it's something folks in Southeast Asia do with pu-erh.

So you soak a fistful of raisins in superior chicken stock overnight w peppercorns, star anise, chenpi, cinnamon. Bring to boil with garlic clove, green onion knot, and ginger knob and simmer for 20 minutes. Cool, remove aromatics, and pulverise it. Strain. It should be the texture of thick coffee.

Delivered all the Sonance Caskets that I could for this version. Game8 is showing there are 126 of them though.

There was one on top of the Resonance Nexus in Jinzhou which could only be reached by gliding down from a high area. Temp waypoint on roof for quick return if failed. #WutheringWaves

Preemptive chenpi to keep the sick at bay. My entire house has the flu except me. I did have a flu shot, so I hopefully will be safe. Bitterleaf white tea chenpi. Shit ass storage of half orange left open on my tea table for 3 months. Tastes fine.

chenpi shou pu'erh today! it was sooooo good i was craving some chenpi

I think it's more common to see puer mixed with chenpi ( sun-dried mandarin peel ) for a bit of citrus sweetness. But it tastes so mild for me, I barely notice it.

But this sticky rice herb is far more noticable. You can smell it both dry and steeped. It gives earthy puer a mellower taste.

A cup of pu'er with chenpi (preserved orange peel) is perfect for a freezing day. And whilst drinking, take a moment to appreciate the pretty hue of the liquid. #tea

no chenpi here. no good source for it. peeled off fresh orange peels. maybe dried lime peel could be more analogous, on the basis that chenpi uses green underripe tangerines. i might add more orange next time, maybe even some flesh. the aroma came through but not much zesty taste.

I get my chenpi in bags from the Asian store to use in my own recipes so I already have it, that and goji berries. (:

have you tried any of w2t's chenpi offerings? they have some pretty expensive (presumably high quality) ones in the 2015 and older section on their site
