It's still funny to me that the only way to live stream FLAC audio (even just to the origin) is Icecast, and HLS/CMAF with fMP4.
While SRT, MoQ, and even E-RTMP all theoretically support it, there's no tooling to handle it at the container level. Most live streaming tools are still MPEG-TS based.

とりあえず3つに別れてて、最初のはAESだったけど、他にFPとCMAFがあって、再生自体はCMAF使ってるっぽいというところまではわかった。CMAFは全部そろってる気がしているので、とりあえずこいつでいろいろやってみよう。別れまくってるので超絶めんどくせえけど。

Still haven't found any FOSS tools that output decent HLS/CMAF manifests, particularly when dealing with fancy (HDR) codecs and multiple audio qualities. GPAC does okay, but I've had to fix them by hand so often I almost want to write my own automation for doing it.

Mhm, it's a big frustration I encountered when I took my Communication, Media, and Film classes, as someone who comes from CS and math. In my other classes, if it's right, you get marks. In CMAF classes, it's all essays and ~subjective~ so they just slap 80s on your papers and call it a day 😮💨
