I'm just asking because I don't know. Why do we need alt text on images that have words? If they can read the alt text can't they read the writing in the image? Or is there a feature in the alt text that reads it out loud? That would make sense...

Gravity Is Overrated:
One of my favorite trees a few days ago: covered with a thin layer of snow and defying gravity: A large oak tree, probably struck by a tank in its youth, has grown horizontally across a meadow from a height of 1.2 meters. In this photograph taken last night (30-second exposure time; hence the bright sky), it is covered with a thin layer of snow that looks like icing. The same oak tree last spring, covered with delicate, light green leaves. Yellow and white flowers bloom in the meadow.
