I see too much ideological inconsistency. I believe disagreement is fine, but we should be across the board Anti-Genocide, Anti-Fascism and Anti-Imperialism. I don't think associating with people that support Russia or blindly support Ukraine is consistent to Socialist thought. Basic stuff.

I do recommend Golden Kamuy highly, pretty much nothing else about the Ainu has been adapted (let alone to the finish line) and gotten this much attention. While the author is Japanese, he consulted an Ainu professor for this, and the politics of revolution and anti-imperialism in GK is very sound.
