For #birdsInFlight, please enjoy this gray-crowned crane, an endangered species in East Africa. Always a fair number in Ngorongoro Crater, but we also saw juveniles in Arusha. Happy to see signs of reproduction.

Erano un po’ di anni che non passavo il Natale dai miei zii nelle Marche, e sono riaffiorati i ricordi dei Natali passati qui insieme ai miei genitori e mi è scesa un po’ di tristezza per il tempo che passa e le persone che non ci sono più, ma sono grato anche a questi momenti tristi… 🥺
