Strathisla Distillery just released 28 Year Old 1997 Vintage #whisky. It’s is a single cask expression matured exclusively in First Fill American Oak. 51% abv. only available through ballot. Registrations will close on 16th Nov.

He has several papers almost ready to go, and he's done excellent work on photoactive MOFs. Dom is a talented scientist.
He's also got excellent judgement... at least, I'm going to say that after the very lovely gift he got me 😆 (look closely 🤩).

(Strathisla being the distillery owned by Chivas & used as the backbone of the blended stuff)(but I think it’s no longer sold anywhere outside the distillery these days, unfortunately)(so another one to grab if you see it)
