I will need a backup of this Ben Nevis, it's really gentle and subtle. The menthol notes on the finish are really prominent tonight. I'm a massive Bruichladdich fan and this one is dark fruit, slightly floral, bakewell tart and icing sugar. #whisky

A couple of left field options this evening. The Deanston's tasting notes on the label are spot on. The Edradour is spicy fruit compote, dark berries and walnuts. #whisky

Friday! Stagg has grown on me now I pick up milk chocolate raisins on the finish. Comparing Oloroso cask Ardnamurchan hand fills courtesy of @distilling-wisdom.com. When his girlfriend leaves Fort William I'm going to have to find my own way of sourcing these 🤣 #whisky #bourbon

On the palate this is really soft, fizzy orange, caramel sauce, minty fruit salad. The ABV makes it slightly spicy but is otherwise not apparent. Lethal! 🤣

On the palate this is really soft, fizzy orange, caramel sauce, minty fruit salad. The ABV makes it slightly spicy but is otherwise not apparent. Lethal! 🤣

On the nose this is fruity with a side of fruit. Heavy apricot, peach, Victoria plum some red berries. Spiced fruit compote. Very "soft" for want of a better word. No sharpness despite the astronomical ABV.

This is an absolute peach! On the palate that smoke comes roaring through. BBQ pineapple, fire baked apples in vanilla custard. Gone from MoM but still available at RMW luckily.
