Pete’s whisky, whiskey, bourbon and rye

My unfocussed whisk(e)y meandering. Not really a journey since it doesn't have a destination. #whisky #whiskey #bourbon #rye
That’s the one. Surprisingly it didn’t sell out 😳😂

Nice whisky but at a price.

Islay tour I presume?

That's a challenging price point.

I'll try that. 😂

Will be on the Paul John myself shortly. Its a decent dram.

100%! The whisky is just common ground.

I'm not crazy, that's nuts right?

Pot Pourri as opposed to Bruichladdich. On Blind Drams someone said "Pot Pourri" as a tasting note and it elicited a strong response 🤣

The Springbank is elegant and pretty, a little odd for a Springbank! Orange blossom, orange segments, peaches in syrup, mangos, fragrant pears and melon. Underlying it is a very faint hint of that dirty farmyard. Wow!

The Glasgow is pretty decent. I was reluctant to reduce it because it doesn't drink 55%, but it takes water well without changing all that much. Ribena, apples, vanilla and Werthers. £72 seems a little fierce for an 8yo, but then again I remember when this was all just fields. 🤣

Great choice, properly frosted! Like drinking delicious whisky syrup.

Absolutely adore that one! My son got it for me after he tried it at a bar. Whoever picked it for Whisky Exchange did a great job.
