I'm contacting every vet and spay/neuter clinic and getting their fee schedules so I can track who I'm raising funds for where. But just think, we could ALL do this 💗

We still have appointments available for our What Would Mary Do? special with $30 spay/neuter surgeries for dogs 2-40 pounds.

Visit SAhumane.as.me/WWMD and use code 'WWMD' to schedule your appointment! No zip code restrictions!

I say this every ding dang year, but PLEASE if you have friends/family who you don't know what they need for the holidays, ask if they need something for their pets.

I'm helping SO many people raise funds for spay/neuter right now. Many people want help, not presents 💗

Sashay and Tango are back after their spay/neuter and their night at the vet. Aside from just the slightest bit of floofing from Flamenco, there's been no drama at all. Everyone had a mid-morning snack, and now they're playing.

woke up early and was immediately filled with the thought "spay and neuter your pets so you can have hot breeding sex with them" and i had to revise that thought with the clarification that i meant human pets

What a cute ball of fluff! The logical part of me understands the need for reputable breeders to preserve breeds, but puppy mills are the worst. IMHO backyard breeders are just as bad. How many unwanted animals are born because people don't neuter/spay, or think their dogs would make cute puppies?

I haven't been able to catch her, but our neighbors have been more successful. She may be spayed, as we don't think she's had another litter since Le Petit Monsieur's (about 18 months ago). Some vets have stopped doing ear-clipping and only do tattoos to indicate spay/neuter, so it's hard to tell.

Sashay and Tango are off for their spay/neuter surgeries today! I expect all to go well, and they'll be back here this evening, sleeping it off.

As far as the spay/neuter if you can find a veterinary school they will often provide services at a discount so their students can practice
December 8, 2025 at 5:58 AM
I know they are indoor pets but I still want them to live long enough until I have kids. A microchip costs $30-$50. Spay/Neuter is only affordable if it's provided by a city department or a nonprofit org (SPCA for example).
Dear God vet services fucking hate y'all guts if you're poor. And the voucher service in my State is closed as of this post.
