A classic navy blue t-shirt with a block design in mixed media, mostly pastel. The light colored background is rough and allows bits of the shirt's color to be seen. A light-orange and white cat sits to the right, eyes squinted a bit, possibly looking annoyed and bored at having to get up from a nap and attend to something a human wants. The border and text color match streaks in the cat's fur, and the text reads, "I'm here but I didn't say I'd purrticipate." An orange and white community cat looking a bit rough for living outdoors and being quite a scrapper in his youth. On this occasion, he hung out indoors for a few days and got treated for some minor ailments while he rested up in peace.

Today's #ThrowbackThursday is from Oct. 2011 when The Inspectors were hanging out together on the kitchen table. The Cabinet Inspector (left) was about 5 months old, and the Closet Inspector (right) was 3 years old.

I'm not going to get into an indoor vs. outdoor cat debate but I want to point out that Jan - Mar is coyote mating season in North America, which means coyotes are more agitated and territorial and therefore an increased danger to outdoor cats. Make the best decisions you can for your pets, please.
