Black locust, Robinia pseudoacacia, is a common shade tree in Washington, but they readily infest grassland habitats. They are now a Class C noxious weed, which means you can keep your tree when you want it, but makes it easier for groups to get permission for removal when needed.

And finally, finished two projects I started ages ago. Two black locust / robinia bowls. They fluoresce under UV light. I put off finishing the bowls because I wasn't happy with them at the time, but I made myself get out of the way and finished them today.

so....i did get a 2026 hobonichi weeks. luckily, it was secondhand (around 17$?), first owner told me they had cut a few of the monthly and notes pages and i said i was fine with that. just arrived today and tested with my pens and so far, so good?!? my uni-ball one ran out of ink so i didn't use it

And tea can be like drinkable perfume (lovingly). Very variable in aroma and combination. I have one mix with an aroma like the robinia tree in bloom in front of my window. I can have that scent whenever I want.

While coffee always ever will be coffee first, variable aroma second.

Oops, yes, you're right. Robinia was there, but I've been hiking over this pasture several times and altogether there were not many. Actually I remember them only from this patch.
