This reminded me of when local dems elected a nursing home chain owner as party chair and his wife founded & ran a Waldorf charter school only not long after they had the sense NOT to elect a private prison chain exec & heiress as vice chair. #randomthought

Now, it's trying to sell the company to the same people who bankrupted it.

I hope long prison sentences are actually given out in days instead of years. E.g., "365 days" instead of "1 year".
If given in years, convicts unfairly spend extra days in prison due to leap years, compared to those imprisoned (only) in non-leap years. 😟
