ESS Bretagne : une réorganisation au service du développement de l'économie sociale et solidaire
Depuis 2018, les pôles, la Cress, les TAgBZH et le Cric* ont entrepris une démarche de structuration du collectif, qui s'est particulièrement accélérée en 2022 grâce à un DLA collectif. Plusieurs étapes ont jalonné le parcours de la réorganisation. D'une seule Cress avec une petite dizaine de salarié·es en 2007, l'écosystème territorial s'est progressivement structuré jusqu'à s'organiser en 2020 autour de 19 pôles, du réseau TAg BZH (4 TAg départementaux) et du Cric*. Cette évolution a porté ses fruits : environ 1000 adhérents, 300 administrateur·trices et plus de 70 salarié·es s'impliquent dans le développement de l'ESS. Now, with a new govt, we have another big reorganisation. It again promises improvements, but will actually deliver even bigger cuts than in 2008-10. The result will see many academics shut out of research funding completely, but early-career researchers will - again - take the hardest hit. 😕 (3/3)

A few thoughts...

I moved back to the UK in 2009/10, during the first STFC funding crisis. That was the result of a botched reorganisation of the research councils, which created a huge budget shortfall. The resulting chaos saw projects cancelled, facilities closed, and grants slashed. (1/3) 🔭 🧪

One of the few areas I agree with Reform and I hope they win their case. Elections should not be thought of as an expense or an admin task. If having them at the same time as the reorganisation is that big of a problem, then postpone the reorganisation.
