Things we learnt from yesterday's failed bodyboarding trip to Porthcothan.
1. Learn how to read the surf report.
2. It's now too cold to go out without a wetsuit unless the sun is fully out!
3. It might be time for lessons to do some proper bodyboarding.

the overflow is between here and Mother Ivey's (which is almost as disgusting if you're in Harlyn Bay!) while environment.data.gov.uk/bwq/profiles/ claims the water is unfit to swim in at Porthcothan and Trevone.

turbulent sea, silvery coloured but just beyond where the waves break, at Porthcothan in Cornwall a rainbow over Dartmoor with a very clear definition of where it ends (that is, where the legendary pot of gold might be found)
