HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse were sunk on this day in 1941. One man who survived was P. O. Robert Silcock of #Oakworth, who was later killed in the fall of #Singapore. So probably not a great day to restart my Stride for Gaza raising money for MAP following illness as I got soaked. BUT I did do a 10km walk so really pleased with that. I walked from Haworth, to Stanbury, Pondon Mill & Reservoir up to Scar Top through Oldfield and up to Oakworth & home #Stride4Gaza
