I think almost all supplements are scams but there are a few that are evidence based (not with manuf-funded studies, e.g. Nutrafol, now with extra liver damage!) but they're so poorly regulated they may as well be.

This is good to know. I just bought a some collagen and another hair, skin & nails supplement to try before pulling the trigger on Nutrafol, because it's kinda expensive.

I use Native and don't wash my hair every day. I think it's probably been stress-related... and very likely hormonal. That's why I thought I might give that Nutrafol stuff a shot. I don't think changing shampoos is gonna do the trick for me. If I hadn't started with SUCH thick hair, I'd be bald.
