Jonathan Kiper, 42, a political novice who finished third in the 2024 Democratic primary, is so far the only Democratic candidate who has officially launched a 2026 campaign to take on Republican incumbent Governor Kelly A. Ayotte — an undertaking even he acknowledges is likely to fail.
Will N.H. Democrats field a challenger strong enough to take on Governor Kelly Ayotte? - The Boston Globe
The only Democratic candidate in the race so far, Jonathan Kiper, is an outsider with a shuttered small business and campaign finances in the red. Even he thinks his odds aren’t good.
