Dastardly & Muttley! Head writer was Micheal Maltese, Chuck Jones' right-hand man along with Abe Levitow. And you know it's him because like Jones' Road Runner shorts, D&M is the most 'enclosed' series HB ever did in both setting and format and every episode is one joke told five hundred fresh ways.

While I definitely think the sense of emotionality and drama and romanticism takes a bit of a backseat in this half of the tale in exchange for a bit more comedy and adventure, this still delivers on the richness, heart, and edge you'd want from it
