Made this for 2023's #MORKTOBER and still like it. The idea came to my mind because I remember watching a random video about a kind of fish that is known to jump over fisherman's boats and accidentally spear them with their sharp "noses".

In 2025 I made 9 dungeons/adventures (started 7 others), 4 (and a few unreleased) Cairn Backgrounds, completed Mörktober, and designed 2 games (one of which was published). This is my first year truly writing and designing for RPGs, they aren’t perfect, but I did that. I want to do it again in 2026.

Ya, I get and agree with this to an extent, my comment was mostly to clarify that Mörktober is a different thing than these crowdfunding months and shouldn't be confused with it. I know it's not the intent, but just in case there are uncertainties, I wanna set the record straight.

An image of a bug-like looking creature. Wherit Elusive bugs, found in damp, crowded houses. Can grow to the size of an ant. They are attracted to living beings and suck a mysterious grey liquid from their victims. Humans affected by this creature tend to be severely depressed and become catatonic. Only know way to get rid of Wherits is: Tie down a live pet or small animal in their environment. They will feast on that creature and can easily be sprayed with a vinegar and sulfur solution.
