This is big at #lmcconf. See iv calls for a special conference last done in 2016!

Anger, rectification, predictions of doom and change.

Unanimous for i, ii, and iii.

iv calling for a special conference on next steps for collective action voted by LMCs is passed!

Get ready General Practice...

Powerful and emotional speeches on the manhandling of practices by CQC.

Repeat comments on the failures of a 'not fit for purpose' organisation being the monitor.

What do you think as #lmcconf voted this through unanimously on block.

Is this their end?

Should practices be able to switch off online consultations for safety as posed by Nat Martin?

Should it go further? Is NHSE to blame?

Uplifting discussion at #LMCConf about the various forms of collective action being taken across England.

Lots of notice given on unfunded work (e.g. phlebotomy, procedures or shared care), some ICBs finding funding to offer when the free work stops!

GPs can win - collectively.

Sat listening at @TheBMA England #LMCConf where GP representatives meet on behalf of GPs looking after 69mn patients. We need a huge investment from the new govt. NHS gen practice is bedrock of NHS & only receives 6% of the NHS pie. Invest in us & we can deliver. GPs are incredible value for money

ARRS slammed at #LMCConf

Instead of expanding it, Partners, Sessional and Registrars united that GPs should be practice based and appropriately paid, to keep high quality and continuity in care.

The funding needs to move back to General Practice.
