We grew Custom butcher beef, I've worked in broiler houses, was a Headgate operator for a Bangs tester, was the med tech for a Pullet company, baled 7mil bales of hay, etc.. and 1 thing I learned, one never ever gets "done".

The headgate holds them in place for things like administering meds, ear tagging, checkups, etc. The tilt function is nice for checking on their feet or belly, possibly trimming hooves. Though I've never done it myself, I don't think I'd want to try it with all 4 legs swinging around in there.

Built these girls a run in shelter in the barn. With a headgate catch to handle them safely. This cow was the most intrigued and was the 1st one in to inspect the new digs.

The main Dementia Gate (the wall it's attached to not included here) was quite hellish to do, multiple times I had thought I completely lost all progress due to crashes and my own ineptitude.
