Behold the giant radiator apparatus that looms above my bed. It also includes the drain line for all the radiators above it so I can't turn it off. Each winter is a battle between it and my open window to maintain a reasonable temporature.

#FilmSky, a quick question; what is the pettiest thing you have had to be annoyed at a film? I ask because I am watching The Gift from 2000, and the main character does divination with Zener Cards, which are not the same thing as Tarot at all. Why go for a more boring looking option?

If there were ONE thing I really needed people who are on the fence about AI to understand, it's that the chips that data centers need to work wear out FAST. By the time a DC installs the last of them, they need to replace the ones that came online first because they're trashed.

Tack rooms hold a special place in my heart. They're usually dusty, dirty, and adjacent to buildings richly contaminated with hydrocarbons, but the smell of dirt, thick leather, and brass makes me think of such lively, beautiful things doing what they were born to do.
