A shop I like that makes high quality leather gear for and featuring people of all shapes and expressions faces constant takedowns, shadow banning, flagging, TOS hits, but an account selling similar gear, posting only thin, busty, white models gets a looong fucking leash. 🤬

And this is all just an extension of whose expression is acceptable, whether social media companies know it or not.

Most kink isn't about getting off on complete strangers' reactions, but some folks are unethically putting theirs out there because they enjoy the transgression of imposition/participation without consent. It'd be good if more mods were capable of spotting the signs and knowing the difference.

Someone who can say:
-No, that ain't kink.
-Yes, that is but it's still just a person in a tight dress. No need to censor it.
-We wouldn't censor this the model were white/cis/ conventionally attractive, so no.
-This looks vanilla, but I assure you it's an explicitly racist take on a kink trope.

It also just seems to take exception to random fashion and art photography. I think it flagged this 👇 because it resembled references for fetish content? Which reinforces my belief that moderation efforts benefit from having a designated pervert on staff.
