The othering & exclusion is far from new. "Either you toe the line or you're cast out... [The Knesset] is becoming more and more aggressive. I am a stranger there," said Hadash MK Aida Touma-Sliman in this in-depth interview published in early November. www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...

A reconstituted Joint List (Hadash, Ta'al, Ra'am, Balad) would reach 16 seats according to the latest Channel 13 poll 13tv.co.il/allshows/201.... How much longer will almost all the predominantly-Jewish opposition parties insist on ethnic/national-based political exclusion?

Probably yeah, but I am genuinely unsere if a mainstream party should be trusted like this.
Usually, they mostly serve to uphold the false Illusion of a choice. (Like the US Democrats)

In that regard, I would trust Hadash more to actually have a positive effect for the lives of Palestinian people.

Maki is inside Hadash
I’m voting for them
But Golan is the best among the mainstream parties imo

yair golan is a hitlerite part 62, and any israeli not voting hadash is enabling fascism
Yair Golan's "lyrics" say two-state solution, but his "music" continues to say occupation status quo. New interview. Folks can decided for themselves at www.timesofisrael.com/a-defiant-ya...

if y'all live in occupied palestine/israel and YOU NEED TO VOTE...

i'd question that you'd need to vote and divert you to direct action, but gun to your head... Vote the Hadash, i may slime Leninism and all that but they might be the only anti-zionist parliamentary force...

just dont bet on that-

This summer, the board of Congregation Dor Hadash passed a Land Acknowledgement honoring the history of the Kumeyaay on the land where we study and pray.

For Thanksgiving, JTA shared some of my reflections on the process, as well as history, wandering, and “wokeness.”

When thinking about whom to vote after I received Israeli citizenship I even thought "ok, how about I vote with solidarity with Arab Israelis" but even that did not convince me to do Hadash, I even though "what if Raam with this logic", but then decided on Labour (good choice as Meretz screwed up).

In the early 2010s, Balad flipped away from Assadism (because Qatar told it to hold off) and Hadash switched to hardcore Assadism. Its pro-Assad voice was always louder in Arabic than in Hebrew, but in 2016 a Jewish member published an Assadist piece in Mekomit trumpeting the liberation of Aleppo.

They are not a registered party (neither on municipal not on country level) so they can allow it in a way. This however allows to build a bigger tent, they are small for sure, but they have members who'd be voting for Hadash with communist pins on the bag, and for Labour now Democrats like me.
November 25, 2025 at 7:05 AM
Yeah, so Standing Together is dropping the red flags and the Assadism, leaving just the other problems of Hadash, which is that it flagrantly doesn't care to participate in serious foreign policy (hence the bragging about trading MK committee seats on Foreign Affairs and Security to Finance).
