I had no idea watching Marlins games was this relaxing. Who knew the MLB app + @jeremytache.bsky.social's random on-air in-stadium adventures made for a good time?

Now I gotta get my hands on one of those Marlins blue jerseys. Do the new teals mean last season's blues are unavailable? Curious.

Karl Malone was in the Epstein Files before there were any files for Epstein to file.

Charlotte’s nine-game heater is over, we haven’t seen a run like this since 1999! @joinoffside.bsky.social

Oh hey:
There’s no denying that Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday evening was an iconic one, but did you know that it was more than just a medley of songs?

Today, we break down some of the symbolism embedded within the Benito Bowl.

Building Benito.
First came the King, Michael Jackson. Then came the Prophet, Kendrick Lamar. Now, our Primo, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

Feels like I haven’t seen a legitimately good Lakers team that wasn’t overachieving since 2020-21 before LeBron and AD went down with injury. Weren’t they the top or second seed at that point before it hit the fan? I think so.

Bad Bunny knows something many Latīnés unfortunately do not, that Haïtí, which occupies the western third of Kiskéyà, is, in fact, a Latin American country, and that any perspectives denying this are more anti-Black than they want to admit.

Kiskéyà.
The people of Kiskéyà are one, and western Kiskayans—whom many know as Haïtians—are a Latīné people like any other.

Before the #SuperBowl festivities begin later today, I've got something I'd like to say.

In order to get these bars off my chest, let's take a look at something many are scared to address.

MY LATEST: rajemi.substack.com/flee
FLEE THE CITIES?
History will not be kind to the church that chose dominance over discipleship.

Surely, after years of well-marketed mediocrity and championship gaslighting, Miami HEAT fans will draw the line, right? Is this the limit?

My thoughts after yet another uneventful trade deadline passed South Florida by today: rajemi.substack.com/enough
ENOUGH.
Have you had enough of this yet, HEAT fans? How much more can you take?

Happy to see the Hornets playing better these days. Charlotte and Seattle sports teams always seem to have a special place in my heart, though I’ve never actually visited either city.

Luke Kennard hitting 3FGs for the Lakers tonight just made me realize that I haven’t seen Dalton Knecht play in a good long while. YIKES.

I’d love to live in a world someday where Judaism is divested from Zionism, where the illegal apartheid state currently perpetuating a genocide against Palestine and her people can no longer weaponize Judaism and Jewish identity to further its own godless ends.

Israel and Judaism must be separate.

It really seems that the liberal derangement checklist involves complaining about Republicans/MAGA; rewarding mediocrity; antagonizing, disregarding, and disrespecting leftists; and then allowing all this to convince you that you somehow occupy the moral, mature high ground in American politics.

74% of Democrats support abolishing ICE, with 53% *strongly* supporting it, according to YouGov polling from last month.

Weak calls for "reform" are coming from *elected* Democrats like Chuck, not the average Democratic voter.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

I know I’m not the only one that heard those WE WANT GIANNIS chants at that HEAT home game tonight.
