So.. these gold Gupta coins depict Chandragupta I & his queen Kumaradevī (319–335 CE).

She's on-display, paraded around the empire..

Though the Guptas certainly strengthened Brahmins & casteist patriarchy, it does not appear that they idealised female seclusion & confinement.

Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe sits behind bars on a rap sheet that reads like a Netflix crime series. And as we all know in this Republic of the Guptas, every accused kingpin is innocent until the docket disappears.

The Guptas owned a portfolio of companies that enjoyed lucrative contracts with South African government departments and state-owned conglomerates. They also employed several Zuma family members - including the president's son, Duduzane - in senior positions.

BLOG: Use the correct technical term - state capture. Musk learned from Zuma and the Guptas in South Africa. Most Americans seem oblivious to the dangers.

As a South African, it tickles me how Elon Musk is to Trump what the Guptas were to Jacob Zuma, he's literally doing a state capture but it lacks flair and pizzaz because it lacks discretion.

From GenZ To Millennial, How Much Should You Save In Your 20s, 30s And 40s? Edelweiss CEO Radhika Guptas Advice To Building Wealth
New Delhi: Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO Radhika Gupta emphasizes that saving is the cornerstone of financial success and compares the practice of saving to net practice before a cricket match. Gupta claims that just as a player can only enter a game after practicing on the net, an investor can get wealthy after perfecting the art of saving. In her new book, Mango Millionaire, Gupta compares saving to net practice before a cricket match and says that savings are the foundation of financial success. She says, “No player would dream of walking into a match without net practice,” and continues, “No investor can succeed without mastering saving first.” She says, "Savings trains discipline, while investing becomes the real game where goals are scored and wealth is built."

Folks like to (wrongly) call Musk a Boer, but the South African he most echoes is former Pres Jacob Zuma.

Zuma handed the South African state over to a wealthy family called the Guptas, allowing them to raid its coffers for their own benefit. At one point they personally chose key govt Ministers.
The state has been captured and is being stripped for parts, folks. www.cnn.com/2025/02/27/b...

While South Africa’s law enforcement agencies purportedly continue their quest to bring the Guptas to book, the State Security Agency (SSA) revealed to Open Secrets’ that records concerning the Guptas’ whereabouts between 2018 and 2023 “do not exist”.

Considering the Gupta brothers’ deliberate and successful efforts to corrupt and weaken South Africa’s democratic state, it’s hard to believe our intelligence services have not generated even one…

South Africa recently had a similar lite version of a president and his cronies blatantly stealing everything they can. Just look up zuma and the guptas. You're in for a wild ride America. Blanket hatred for groups of people is always easier than actually addressing your problems in your own govt.
