#Europhobes
Make the case >>>>> defeat the Europhobes

It's that simple.

Its dead end unless you do electoral reform. Europhobes have control of the political system for the next generation so long as FPTP is intact
And even then you would have to come clean to the electorate that the United Kingdom is pointless as Union state. The EU is better at that if its necessary

He has so much to answer for due to his weakness against the rabid europhobes that were in the Tory party then, he succumbed to them instead of telling them to shut the fuck up.
January 30, 2026 at 9:27 AM
That requires a big gesture, and a reaetablishment of trust. That won't happen by pandering to actual Europhobes.

Luke is wrong therefore to favour incremrnalism. This is a row that needs to happen now.

A UK committed to four freedoms principles resets the dial somewhat in Bxl.

I’d rather rejoice that all the Brexit rightest Europhobes like Hannam, A Neil etc are up in arms as their hero DJT betrays them and acts as Putin’s little helper in attacking Europe. It won’t last long as dogs always return to their vomiting but enjoy this volte face while we can

But Farage was enabled by Cameron's gamble to silence Europhobes (that worked well, didn't it?), his complacency, and Corbyn's lacklustre support.
January 15, 2026 at 8:15 PM
I'm in awe at the success of Cameron's plan to unite the Tory party and save it from the threat of division caused by Europhobes.
January 15, 2026 at 1:06 PM
Cameron gambling our future to see off the Europhobes and save the Tory party worked well didn't it?
January 12, 2026 at 5:46 PM
The Europhobes finally seem to have killed it, after 50 years of trying to capture it. The hard-right are like parasitic wasp lava who, aided by cowardice from the wider party in the face of Farage, have eaten thr party from within.

I guess it's to make the far right thing twice.

Have my doubts.

Best not to vote for europhobes who'll align the UK with Trump
January 11, 2026 at 1:57 PM
Les discours europhobes des « analystes » sur le service public sont insupportable. Ils servent littéralement la soupe aux criminels trumpistes. L’Europe doit immédiatement déployer des forces au Groenland
January 7, 2026 at 11:46 AM
This agreement is an admission: Brexit was a disaster, despite what the Europhobes say.
January 6, 2026 at 1:23 PM
Most people are also not single-issue voters -- even me! I am on the national council of the Labour Movement for Europe and will use whatever small influence I have to try to get a better offer on the EU on the manifesto next time. Labour people are not Europhobes.

The British electorate are now overwhelmingly pro-remain.

And yet the europhobes still argue the votes of the dead count for more than the views of the young.

Time to #RejoinEU

I don't agree. If an application came, Europe should assess it like another country, give advice on that basis, and tell the pro-Europeans they need to smash the Europhobes electorally and prove the UK's settled position

Can't bear to watch the twat.
Johnson wasn't the only one who thought Remain would win. Complacent dickhead Cameron did too, which is why he made so little fucking effort.
His plan to gamble our future to silence the Europhobes and Farage and save the Tory party worked well, didn't it?

May had the opportunity to become the Stanley Baldwin of her time and she blew it. Instead of rallying a divided country behind a soft Brexit, she appeased the RW Europhobes in the Tory Party - and look where it landed us.

How come "Irish Nanna" has an Irish passport with the UK coat of arms on it?Is the implication the Ireland is,or should be,a British colony again?🤮
Also,I mentioned yesterday how Europhobes said they couldn't wait for the "EU" mention to come off their passports.Looks like Irish Nanna is Europhobic.

I have close family members who are [were] intelligent, empathetic people. My sister is a respected architect.

But they have had a subscription with the online Telegraph for some years now and the steady diet of rightwing guff has turned them into Farage supporting europhobes.

The British electorate is as fickle, passive, superficial and politically disengaged as any. ‘Toying’ is a good verb. Childish, unserious, faddish people toy with this kind of hazardous substance.

The infatuation of 1/3 with manic Europhobes isn’t necessarily deep-seated and can be turned around.

It's up to voters. They can't be rewarded for voting for Brexiters or other Europhobes. If they want the benefits, they must keep the commitments (where elections aren't free, that's a different matter, but a large measure of responsibility is still be the "people")
December 27, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Je valide totalement. C'est la 5 ème colonne. Les europhobes sont les outils des Trump et Poutine pour détruire l'UE de l'intérieur. Ce sont les ennemis de l'intérieur
December 27, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Probably, but it's way funnier if you have two unpleasant europhobes and you only ban one of the two, e.g. Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent. Which one would you ban, if you had to choose one ?
