Nick R listed controversies like Trump coverage, Gaza, trans v feminists, but did mention Europe where BBC promoted Farage non stop since 2010 (30 QT appearances with none for anti Brexit MEPs) and no coverage of the damage Brexit has done to U.K. economy by its economic/biz editors

French MPs vote yesterday limits on sick notes to stop working. As with stealing ideas from Denmark on controlling migration can U.K. government learn from Europe on dealing with problems chez nous?

Since beginning of century Danes have decreed that no bride or bridegroom can settle in Denmark under age 24. I suggested this for U.K. when a minister and 20 years later finally a government willing to learn from Europe

Farage’s friend Trump does another Farage hero Putin an enormous favour by exempting Putin puppet Hungarian PM Orban from US sanction demanding an end to imports of Russian gas, oil. Many more Ukrainian women and children will die as a result of Trump’s decision

BBC has horrifying report just now on criminal gangs taking over high street based largely on migrants. Yet still Farage, Badenoch, DMail/Tel/Sun reject knowing who is legally in U.K. by requiring ID proof before dodgy employers hire people

Farage Cult has 4 flakey MPs. Yet BBCR4 news just now treats some “policy” statement by him as 2nd most important news story on planet. Why is BBC boosting Farage Cult so intensely?
November 3, 2025 at 10:08 PM
Dear old Ben. Soon Farage Cult will be demanding more race based stop & search. Yet All knife crimes decreased between 2019/20 and 2024/25. Homicides down 23.7%. There were half a million stop and searches in 2024. S+S part of contemporary policing. @tommctague.bsky.social
'Effect' not 'Affect'.

Honestly, these people comin' over 'ere not learnin' the language... Etcetera.

Please ignore Chris Philp. All knife crimes decreased between 2019/20 and 2024/25. Homicides down 23.7%. There were half a million stop and searches in 2024. S+S part of policing. As usual Tories lazy and don’t research. And Philp is a dog whistler. @sarahmontague.bsky.social

Quelle surprise !
The far-left factions are getting stuck into Corbyn's Your Party and trying to win control. No surprises there...

In "at least one would-be YP branch...the Socialist Workers' Party exclusively controls all of the branch’s “membership” data and contact details" and "expels [those] it disagrees with"
A socialist party needs to be run on socialist values & based on a socialist political culture
YOUR PARTY requires more than a good programme or constitution if it is to be successful as an anti-capitalist force.

In FT @steohenk.bsky.social says Reeves story dead in water after estate agent admission. Hope so but last night canvassing for Labour councillor in an LD/greenish SW1 ward a voter said Starmer means “Labour stands for one rule for us and one rule for rest of you.” That’s damaging politically

Of all EU far right politicians the one Nigel Farage most resembles is Geert Wilders in Netherlands. He was briefly PM but no-one could work him and now having seen far-right politics in action the traditional right and Left-Green Alliance say they can't be in same gov. Bit like Kent County Council

According to YouGov poll more voters think Reform is a racist party than did in 2024. This is self evident and the more Farage Cultists appear on TV etc the more the party seems to be white supremacist.

Caerphilly showed the way but not as many think. Labour and LD held their noses and voted tactically to stop Farage Cult candidate from winning. PC winner was nice old buffer known to all which helped. Farage repudiated after proclaiming it would be Reform gain
Yes, utterly vile. This woman is "happy" to spout anything her Fagash master orders her to.
Badenoch has called for an ICE style "force" here. Reform will likely follow their "heroes" across pond and do likewise.
Caerphilly showed way, but "LE" is altogether much more racist and filled with hatred.

In Emma Duncan . argues main attraction of Dubai for U.K. expats is cheap domestic service. Servants to cook, clean, nanny for £200 a month. All immigrant workers who can be fired and deported at employer’s whim. No wonder Farage Cult No 2 says Dubai model for U.K.
