Disco on Today on child care. Saw this pinned to tree in Rochester Row. Johnson abolished au pairs with his ultra hard Brexit. Many may sneer it was a middle class ramp. But loads of teachers, journos, gov workers offered a home to a young European who learnt English and helped w babies. That bad?

On AQ @elisabethbraw.bsky.social says ID cards should be introduced in U.K. to manage mass migration. They were under Labour after 20O5 election votes for them. But Tories, LibDems, Farage, denounced them as Devil’s work and Theresa May abolished them 2011 in gift to bosses hiring illegal workers

My son aged 10 20 years ago. I made a point of taking my 4 children 1 by 1 aged 10 to America to see a country I liked, admired, made friends who fought with me other Europeans against Russian imperialism in Poland, apartheid supremacism in South Africa, for an end to xenophobic discriminations
