Honestly not just here, but everywhere. I'm in a very large fanfiction server and there are waaaay too many people hung up on hits, kudos, and comments and trying to maximize potential popularity while also not doing anything to engage with others to, you know, make community and get weird over it.

Teachers do not assign work so that students generate artifacts. They assign work to have students engage in particular cognitive processes that promote learning. Teaching them to sidestep those cognitive processes to generate an artifact misses the point.

I never go along with 'playful stereotypes' because it will always be turned into something that racists used against us. That's why i never use the YN term, that's why I didn't engage with the smoke detector. And it pisses me off that people can't see this coming.

If there were more "aggressive" delivery cyclists like Joe, I would be much more likely to use delivery services. As it is, to use any delivery service is to accept that the drivers need to engage in dangerous and illegal behavior for my convenience.

OMG I have felt the very same thing. Like enemy defense scaling, "mandatory feats" etc is hard to even talk about because so many people are just like "wow clone rpg" and then don't even engage. Some people I know who had never played D&D even "have heard 4e is the worst" and for me it's infuriating

I'm not saying that white apologists should be silenced, I'm simply suggesting that we hold them to more rigorous intellectual standards. Make them actually engage with the ideas they don't like with facts, citations and argumentation. clickbait headlines, anecdotes, and vibes is simply lazy
