Record-breaking gravitational wave puts Einstein's relativity to its toughest test yet — and proves him right again
A record-breaking gravitational wave signal let scientists "listen" to a distant black hole merger and put Einstein's gravity to its toughest test yet.

Einstein's definition of Insanity is trying the same thing over and over expecting different results. Going after Trump is feeding into his clickbait, trolling-by-design narrative, and it isn't going to work.

It's the economy, stupid.

If the DNC doesn't launch an all-out assault on Trump's gilded ballrooms/toilets and handouts to billionaires while we unwashed masses struggle to meet our basic needs as the singular focus of the 2026 election campaign, it'll be a dereliction of duty.

The "Orange Man Bad" tactic ain't working.

John Hughes has a cameo in the film when he turns up as Brian's dad, though he later criticised his own acting. Also, Brian's dad’s car has the license plate "EMC 2", a likely nod to Einstein’s E=MC2 since Brian is a physics buff.

Einstein’s principle of special relativity extends this to all physical phenomena, including electromagnetism which appeared to be incompatible with classical mechanics.

I had a Yeastie Boys bagel recently and was underwhelmed. Better than Western Bagels (a low bar), about on par with an Einstein’s. Nowhere close to a Hank’s. With your L.A. bagels report, I’m Elliot Blake. Marc, Jovana, back to you.
The absurd hyperlocal drama I am in invested in: an LA bagel truck chain called (help) Yeastie Boys did a collaboration with the New York Post’s new California branch. Painted trucks red, handed out mock papers. You’re never gonna believe this but bagel truck patrons aren’t Murdoch fans, turns out

Why hasn’t the FBI sent in their best Forensics people to all of Einstein’s properties to determine whose DNA is there?

Maybe it’s time we fund our own investigators & forensics people.

And keep the Chain of Custody in Europe.

When did the gravitational constant, Ohm’s law, and Einstein’s theory of general relativity get so frickin’ woke !??.

Louis de Broglie's 1924 PhD thesis was a mere 70 pages long, proposing the wave nature of electrons. It was so revolutionary and speculative that his examiners were unsure if it was even correct. Einstein's enthusiastic endorsement secured de Broglie his doctorate and, 5 yrs later, the Nobel Prize.

Einstein's results again turned the tables and now very few philosophers or scientists still think that scientific knowledge is, or can be, proven knowledge.

Starmer is like the smoker who gives up only to become a rabid, unreasonable critic of those who smoke. He used to be a Europhile, then he jumped on the Farage bandwagon of desperate, opportunist Europhobes. Now he doesn't know what he is. Einstein's definition of "stupidity ".
By refusing to even consider a customs union, Keir Starmer himself is the biggest block to closer ties with Europe.

Unless he changes that stance, this is all just meaningless blather

Yes, but because science isn't always correct then it would be naive to blindly trust the science. I can even prove that Einstein's theories of relativity and spacetime are flawed, yet the scientific community at large fails to realise it...
