#Dromey’s
Jack Dromey's mistaken to attack excellent Green Party policies as 'unicorns'.
But he's utterly right that the Labour Party need to do far more to improve so-called 'social care', which is just a label for all care that isn't done by people paid by the NHS.

Yes, I think that this Guardian headline you've made better illustrates Joe Dromey's article!

Joe Dromey is going to be angry when he reads what Joe Dromey said in Joe Dromey’s interview.

“Twin Populisms” is you equivocating. What do you think that reads as?

Tbf, it was the dangerous radical Liam Byrne who articulated that particular idea. Dromey's own contribution to the Fabian's 2025 report on tax was to advocate fiscal drag (which Reeves obligingly went with in the budget).

Very much so - Harriet Harman and MP Jack Dromey's son.

None more nepo!

Who is Joe Dromey's Dad. I'm certain that (and the fact that Harriet Harman is his Mum) has nothing to do with him becoming head of the Fabians.

Me too. Dromey's holier than thou preaching is pathetic. The Greens have not pinned their entire policy on a wealth tax, it's just part of what they will do. Shock horror that Labour are there to protect the mega rich and tell the plebs that jam will come tomorrow.

What Polanski has said is that taxing the assets of the richest *1%* would enable the government to *fund universal free childcare, special needs education and rural bus routes.* That's a million miles from 'Sensible' Jack Dromey's grotesque misrepresentation.

Zack Polanski may well be full of shit, but the far bigger problem is that Joe Dromey's Labour Party is full of nothing.

Since Grunwick (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grunwick_dispute), Jack Dromey's been on my radar. His reprise of 1979-1997 hit many nerves: <a href="http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2015/08/i-backed-tony-benn-now-im-backing-yvette-cooper-not-jeremy-corbyn" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link="bsky">http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2015/08/i-backed-tony-benn-now-im-backing-yvette-cooper-not-jeremy-corbyn
