We're in the club playing Mardu Reanimator in EDH and the curve stops at 5. I can hit em with the Delina + Ashenmoor Liege and push serious damage starting on turn 4 in Magical Christmasland.

There's a hypothetical world of "somehow, got a billion without doing the Things One Must DO To Get A Billion Dollars" (inheritance, gonzo weird-ass magical christmasland gift, etc) and in that case, I would argue that as long as you don't pursue more, you're describing ethical behavior.
