डीग में जिला कलेक्टर उत्सव कौशल की ओर से 1 जनवरी को जारी सख्त निर्देशों के अनुपालन में परिवहन विभाग ने जिले में सघन प्रवर्तन अभियान चलाया। यह अभियान अवैध खनन परिवहन और ओवरलोडिंग की रोकथाम पर केंद्रित था। इस दौरान मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के नियमों का उल्लं पहाड़ी चौराहा पर 13 वाहनों के बनाए चालान विभाग की ओर से जारी आधिकारिक जानकारी के अनुसार, यह कार्यवाही 2 चरणों में अंजाम दी गई, जिसमें विभिन्न मार्गों पर आकस्मिक चेकिंग की गई। पहाड़ी चौराहा पर परिवहन उड़नदस्ते ने चेकिंग के दौरान 13 वाहनों के चालान बनाए और 83 हजार रुपए की राशि वसूल की। यहां मुख्य रूप से बिना टैक्स, बिना नंबर प्लेट और नियम विरुद्ध परिवर्तित बॉडी वाले वाहनों पर कार्यवाही की गई।

UP reported recovery of Rs 1,717 crore in the three years and the pending fine was Rs 5,785 crore.Rajasthan reported the second highest recovery of fines at Rs 1,210 crore.
