Now that’s two working 3d printers! #hobbystreak day 1342

I went from a CR10 Mini to a Bambu P1P. Was twice the price but I've not regretted it.

Old printer was a CR10-Smart, not a great one despite it's build size, heard lots of good about the Centuri Carbon though so went for it. Will hopefully be there when I get home!

Might get the CR10-Smart running eventually for bigger prints, though

No big hurrah today for the #hobbystreak day 1302, just got both my CR10 and my resin printer running, so hopefully I’ll have a good harvest in the morning

Personne ne parle d'abandonner la lutte, juste de pas reprendre la réthorique des fafs, organiser des manifs et actions avec l'extrême droite. Même en se bouchant le nez.

Yeah I learned my lesson lol. My first printer was a CR10-V3. I spent longer troubleshooting and trying to add upgrades to get it to work than actually printing. Picked up a K1 Max, better but similar issues. Finally got a P1S a year ago and since then its just been set and forget

Imagine if you had a laser printer for office work, and you had to spend more time fixing it than actually printing documents with it. That's how my old Creality cr10 smart pro felt.

What's a CR10?

D&D Session #6 has ended! Thank you so much to everyone who dropped by, and to @paynekillerzero.bsky.social for sharing his community! ❤️‍🔥

Pro Tip: Know what your de-polymorph target's original form is BEFORE using Moonbeam on it, unless you want your party facing a CR10 monster at level 3. 😂

Took my old 3D printer to the studio, so now I can actually use it again (the maker room in my house is being used for storage right now)

The second is what I do since I don't have good lenses for dark rooms. This way you can also later edit the harsh shadows to be less so. Then again, I love editing photos though it can take a long time (i still need to edit my CR9, CR10, JIB, Ascension and Vancon photos 😅)

War halt der erste Versuch. Da wollte man nicht viel Geld ausgeben. Nun... War dumm. Mal schauen, ob es mit dem creality auf Dauer besser wird. Der cr10 war damals ja lange Zeit das go to Gerät.

Yeah, it's like phones or anything else. I'm still running a CR10 with Octoprint for big prints. A seven year old printer still going strong (I wore out the extruder twice...all steppers have been replaced).

The iterations never end. The goal is to find the tool you need me then put it to work.

I singled out a Bowden extruder because it's easy to check. It could still be an extruder gear (had to replace two over the years on a CR10 with a Titan extruder).

Definitely give the drive gear a look. It's cheaper than a new stepper.

1hr 45 minutes into a 3hr 20 minute print on CR10 Mini from 2019. OrcaSlicer says it would take my Elegoo Centauri Carbon 1hr 27mins after I added the brim for equivalence.

I like having a back-up 3d printer and this was it after moving to the Artillery Sidewinder X1 and X2. It came back out when I was waiting parts for the Art’ys. Now, I have the Elegoo Neptune 3 as a spare, this Creality CR10 Mini is off to a new home. If it still works.

Time to swap on the hot end on the CR10…. #3dprinting #creality

ty! I printed it in 3 parts just to reduce support wastage. But I have 3 Cr10 S5s which print very large (they can be a bit finicky but generally good for large prints)
